Wired AMR Metering/Billing Solution

 The Wired AMR Solution consists of the water meters, M-bus(RS-485) communication line, M-bus(RS-485) data concentrator and the data center.

 Down-link, the M-bus(RS-485) data concentrator communicates with the water meters that are preconfigured with built-in M-bus(RS-485) communication modules by the M-bus(RS-485) communication line; Up-link, it communicates with the data center through the GPRS modules.

 Wireless AMR Metering/Billing Solution(LoRa)

 The wireless AMR Solution consists of wireless water meters, wireless data concentrator and data center.

 The wireless data concentrator integrates the wireless LoRa module with the GPRS module. Down-link, the wireless LoRa module uses the communication method of RF 470MHz to commnunicates with the wireless water meters that are preconfigured with built-in wireless LoRa modules; Up-link, it communicates with the data center through the GSM/GPRS module.

 Technical Features

 -- The system is absolutely the wireless transmission, no drilling and wiring required, delivers simple construction, easy post-maintenance.
-- Data concentrator is with data storage function 
-- Delivers simple system architechture, it is very simple to finish the system debug by transferring all the subscribers’ information into the data concentrator via the software
-- Use of wireless LoRa technology, longer range of data transmission and more reliable data transmission is assured

Smart Metering Introduction A water meter is a device used to measure the amount of water consumed in a building.  A "smart" water meter is a measuring device that has the ability to store and transmit consumption data frequently.  Sometimes "smart" meters are referred to as "time-of-use" meters because in addition to measuring the volume consumed, they also record the date and time the consumption occurs.
