AMR / AMI SOLUTIONS - RS485 AMR
RS485 : A communication technology which allows multiple numbered meters ( up to 128) connection to the
same line and used to read meter data and control the meters. Communication distance may increase up to
1000 meters.
PSTN ( Public Switched Telephone Network ) : A communication technology used to trasmit meter data over
fixed phone lines.
ETHERNET : A communication technology used to read meter data and control meters remotely by LAN / DSL
connection over local network or internet.
