RTU (Remote Terminal Unit)
Self powered micro power consumption Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) is the high performance supervision
and control device that incorporates analog quantity, switching value, pulsed
quantity acquisition of signal, acquisition of meter data via RS485
communication and 2G/3G/4G wireless data communication, can be directly
integrated into standardized 4~20mA or 0~5V transformer signal, level signal, dry contact, pulses signal etc.
It is the optimal method of distributed system used for wireless supervision
and control. It supports independent data storage, capacity of which mounts up
to 16M bits.
Performance Characteristics
1. Self-powered micro-power consumption: remote terminal unit is with built-in high power lithium battery, dormant current lower than 50uA, average power consumption for communication no higher than 50uA, collecting data at 5 minutes interval, reporting data at 1 hour interval, operating time no less than 3 years.
2. Completely water-proof design: With IP68 protection class, can work in good condition submersibly

Compatibility: Is compatible with standardized MODBUS-RTU communication protocol, can be integrated into various models of flow meter, and it can be integrated into mechanical pulse water meter as well, supports single pulse, dual-pulse, triple-pulse, can detect reverse flow and magnetic interference, with alrm functions
4. Analog quantity signal acquisition interface: It is pre-equipped with analog quantity signal acquisition interface, can capture putput signal from pressure, water level sensor

Multi-working mode: Can be set as sleeping mode or real-time online mode, under sleeping mode, it can routinely collect and store data according to the set cycle, the real-time online mode supports timed collection and timed reporting, it can support active instant data collection function of the server as well. The dormant mode generally works under battery powered mode, the real-time online mode generally works under electricity powered or solar energy powered.
7. Visualized debugging interface: with LCD screen and magnetic button, for easy on-site debugging and confirguration
8. Blue-tooth communication function: With pre-equipped bluetooth module, can debug and set the device by a cellphone.
9. Integrated design: Uses of integration of collection and transmission design, it can directly communicate with the system server via the 2G/3G mobile communication module.
10. Power supply output function: Can supply electricity power to equipments including pressure, water level sensor, etc. Optional output voltage: 5V, 12V, 24V, etc.
11. Environmental Alert: It is with the alarming function such as battery voltage, working temperature, temperature function, operational exception alert
